Imagine Ireland
Poor Service/Misleading Website

Default Imagine Ireland

This company trades on good customer service, but given our experience with them it couldn't be further from the truth. I am dealing with a complaint for a friend. Imagine Ireland have just cancelled a booking made in August 2008 7 days before departure because they double-booked the cottage. They seem to think they have no obligation to find an equivalent alternative without charging an additional price, then cottages shown as available on their website become unavailable when you try to book them. Their staff just won't return calls or make any attempt to remedy the situation - one even laughed when we complained!

It looks as if all you can do is Imagine Ireland if you book through this lot, as they sure won't be taking you....

I would like to comment on the above review of Imagine Ireland as I also had a booking that was canceled, however I must say they were extremely professional and quick in finding me an alternative accommodation from which I have returned recently which was fantastic. I will certainly travel with Imagine Ireland again as I now know that they will provide help if something goes wrong!

Same as above with the cancellation.
Have a 4 month old child and booked our trip in August to have two weeks in Leitrim to see our family. Booked everything and received a confirmation for our self catering cottage. Thinking everything was all set but then getting an email at the end of Aug telling me that owner of the house took it off the market. they tried to help out but there is nothing else that is close to the place where we are staying. what would have happened had it been in october when we were supposed to leave for holiday. Second rate business plan and there is no accountability on the part of the sellers of the houses. Terrible, this cannot happen again, be aware, be very aware
